but I’m a creep, I’m a weirdo…
…what the hell am I doin’ here?
it’s so fucking fitting, thank you Radiohead!
Not only their first single, but also probably one of their best songs ever, despite it being rather mainstream. the song simply confirms once again that some of the best bands/musicians ever are british (obviously coming to my mind are oasis, radiohead, placebo, genesis but also the beatles, the verve or james blunt).
I’ve also listened to the acoustic version of this song recently which adds another level on top of what creep already is, however for the purpose of enjoying it I do prefer the standard version.
anyway, here it is…
(almost) an annual event
oh well, it happened again early this year…my host vanished from this virtual world without a notice. and this year it took me a bit longer to get back again. makes me wonder how long it’ll take me in 2010?
anyway, what was lost? a few articles, mainly a re(ar)view of r.e.m.’s concert at würzburg last year and something about a spotting day at FRA. at least I was able to rescue the two galleries connected to the posts.
and that’s how 2009 started (rather late) in my lair.
p.s.: to Boris (who can’t read this anyway): sorry, mate. Taiwan is not popular all over the world I’m afraid.
will the nightmare soon give way to dreaming…
…that she is here with me? here in the glow of the night…
quote of the day
no more time for laziness
hmm, after a nice and long vacation of 15 days I’m going to head back to the airport for a late shift soon and honestly, it’s kinda hard to get yourself moving along again. let’s hope for a smooth and calm afternoon in the madhouse.
don’t know much about geography…
a nice little game: How many countries can you name in 5mins? But Boback’s right, it’s also a frustrating one (although I beat you
).
Just try it out yourself.
